Cost For Parts And Repair Of An E30 BMW Air Conditioning System?
Concerned about overall cost for repair/replacement if the car needs a compressor, dryer, evap core, etc. What would be the most economical way to buy parts/repair system? Thanks

Where are you located? I'm in Daytona - 2 really good repair shops here. I've found lots of parts on line for my '86 535i, so you should have no trouble finding parts for your car...it's newer. Just check with a local shop to get an estimate - so you know if the price for a part on line is a good one. If you can afford to buy new,go for new ones. Otherwise you buy the compressor,evap core from wreck yards(choose the good ones.But buy the dryer new. You can have good cooling for next couple of years. good luck.
