It sounds like more than a slow leak. You can find a step by step troubleshooting guide as well as a charging guide at my source. the coolant was not replaced , it was added because it all leaked out due to a major leak . have a leak search done and repair the hole before it is recharged. AN AIr conditioner works on VCR system where a collant vapour isd compressed condensed expanded n evaporated. It might be a problem in anyof the four parts involved in the whole equipment. 1>Either there might be a small leak of the coolant or refrigerant 2>Compressor might not be building sufficient pressure 3>Heat transfer may not be taking place in the condensor fully or partially 4>Expansion valve n capillary tubes may be blocked or not working. Just let the service engineer to check all the parameters once with ur ac.
