Air Conditioner Pressure Readings

Question:
I had A/C issues this weekend and had a company come out to look at it. Turns out, the coils in the attic unit had frozen over. They fixed it by turning on the heat pump to melt the ice. The pressure readings when the left were 220/80 on the guages. I had also made an appointment to have the whole thing serviced for this morning. I had a different company scheduled to do that. They charged me to fill the coolant and wrote down pressure readings of 200/67. Needless to say, I'm a little pissed. I think they took advantage of my wife 'cause she was there alone and doesn't really know how all of that works.

Answer:
Why didn't the company that came out over the weekend repair what was wrong with the system that caused it to freeze up in the first place? Did they say why it froze up? Those pressures (80/220) would not cause the indoor coil to freeze up. What did the second company say was wrong with the system? Why did they add refrigerant? Was there a refrigerant leak? If so, where? Did they repair the leak? Sounds like you got screwed twice.
