Whats The Best Type Of Garage Door Opener.
I am in the market for a couple garage door openers, what are the pro and cons of chain, belt and screw drive? The garage is detached so if the only disadvantage of chain drive is noise I will probably get a chain drive Chamberlain. Especially since chain are the cheapest. Also anyone know a good place on the net to order openers?

Stanley is the only way to go (IMHO). I can't imagine anyone having better customer service. I've had 3 Stanly openers and only had trouble with one once. It was a couple months after the warrenty had expired and Stanley sent me a new circuit board free (all they asked was that I return the old non-working one). As a side note, I recently contacted Stanley again needing a couple springs for a couple of old yankee screwdrivers I picked up on ebay, and they sent me the springs free! - beat that!
