Garage Door Opener: Frantz 375 ??? Need New Transmitter

Question:
My garage door opener's label proclaims it as a "Frantz 375". So far, I can find no reference to a company named Frantz that manufactured garage door openers. I bought a universal transmitter from Radio shack, as my old one is on death's door. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to get it to work. There is no mention of a manufacturer named Frantz in the instructions. Can anyone help me out? What do I need to do to get another transmitter to work with this garage door opener? Please e-mail me a copy of your reply.

Answer:
I found the universal to not be so, as it did not work on my older Sears brand opener. I found getting a replacement from Sears was as costly as buying a whole new transmitter and reciever, so I did. I got a transmitter and reciever from Genie for (trying to remember here) i think 40 bucks. It is truly univeral, as essentially all it is is a switch, you just mount the new reciever on your garage ceiling, and run wires to the 2 screws that activate your opener.
