Garage Door Opener Beoke Or Code Reset



Question:
I have a code garage door opener. It is a small 1x2x5 inch) plastic box that sits outside the garage, when you enter the right combination (like 8765) the garage would open. For some reason it no longer works. When I enter the code, it blinks as though the code was incorrect. I suspect that my 2 year old son reset the code, he loves messing with everything that has buttons. The battery is fine. Any idea how I might be able to fix it?

Answer:
I know this might sound stupid, but it works when mine goes on the fritz ..................... unplug it for 30 seconds. Plug it back in. It that don't work, look to see if the code has been changed. If it hasn't, you might want to change it now that you have given the world your access code. ;-) If that don't work, call the 800#. Another stupid suggestion: check the battery and plugins. I say these are stupid suggestions, because I have done them both, and felt really stupid when I got it working.
