I don't think I can recommend a specific brand (although my LiftMaster seems to be very good) - but get a door opener that uses the "Security Plus" standard for the opening/closing electronics. Easy to change codes, install wireless door panels, and it is tougher for those who shouldn't get in to do so... I also have a LiftMaster 1/2 hp which has worked great for 15 years. I also bought the wireless keypad box you can mount on the outside to open the door. Saved me more than once when I left my keys in the house. Regards,
