Garage Door Opener In 105 Inches

Question:
I just purchased a Genie screw drive GDO. I had to remove about 12 inches of the screw section to get it to fit. Of course, now the door does not open high enough. I have a steel IBeam and heating ducts in the way. I was wondering if anyone had seen a 90 degree gear box attachement that could be used to move the motor unit to the side. Or any other ideas? Thanks,

Answer:
What is 105"? What is the size of your door height? How far back is the I beam and ducts. What is the distance from the floor to the I beam or ducts? It sounds like you need a double track low headroom kit. But without looking at it it's hard to tell. the post was pretty clear, this person bought a garage door opener, but had to remove a section of the screw "track" to make it fit, because there is a steel I beam in the way (prolly for a room above). becuse of removing this section the door cannot travel far enough to fully open ( what did the original poster think was going to happen?)
