Old Sears Garage Door Opener - Impulse Relay
I have a Sears Model 139.654001garage door opener, and the little spring on the impulse relay is broken at the end. I'm not sure where it connects at the top. I tried to order the impuse relay assembly from Sears today, but they stopped stocking it in 1996. Does anyone know if there is a second source new or used for the relay assy, P/N 160B27? Or do you know how/where the top of the spring connects? That is the only thing wrong with the opener. Any help would be extremely welcome. If you wouldn't mind, would you also email any comments suggestions you have, in addition to posting them here
Answer:
It might be worth checking with a local Overhead Door or similar dealer. Sears has used a couple of different manufacturers and they may know who to contact (or even have the part in stock).
