Garage Door Opener Question
I have to get 2 garage door openers for our garage. We have 2 separate 8ft doors. Is there a brand that can do the following? 1. Remote(s) that can operate either door? 2. Outside keypad that can operate either door? 3. Inside control that can operate either door? I'd rather not have 2 of everything to open the doors if I can find a brand that can understand left and right doors.

Well, the inside control is easy. Unless things have changed drasticly since I last saw a GDO. IIRC the inside control is nothing more than a doorbell type button mounted on the wall. So what's so hard about wireing two buttons, one for each opener? If you want to save yourself some time, use phone wire. It has four conductors. Make one wire run to where the buttond are located, then split out the red/green pair for one opener and the yellow/black pair for the other.
