Garage Door Opener

Simple question (I hope): I have an "old-style" single garage door - in other words you squeeze the handle on the outside and manually lift it out and up (one piece metal door). Will a garage door opener work with this style of door? Does anyone have any suggestions on a quality opener?

Answer:
Yes, a garage door opener will work with this type of door. I just installed a new Chamberlain 1/2 horsepower belt-drive opener last week, and the instructions included two sets of details, one for a solid door such as yours as well as for a hinged, partitioned multi-part door. This unit is carried at Lowes, and is super quiet.
